The painting is a twentieth-century tribute to the refined and famous Venetian vedutista school of the 18th century. The view is directed towards the Island of San Giorgio Maggiore with its Palladian basilica. 

 

The painting, populated by figures in eighteenth-century clothes, is crossed by a very fascinating light. In particular, the sky, with its riot of colors and overlapping shades ranging from ochre, to yellow, red, light blue and blue, contributes to creating an enchanted atmosphere with an emotional impact of sure effect.
