MIOLA FINE ARTS

Ancient Modern Design Gallery
passion for art!
Theodor Kärner was born in 1884 and died in 1966 in Munich. During his life he sculpted for several porcelain factories, creating beautiful and memorable animal figurines.
The work for sale represents a stunning Wagtail. Made of fine porcelain, the work is very elegant and can enhance any collection.
Light, elegant and with slender shapes, the Wagtail takes its name from its way of “walking” on the ground, rhythmically waving its long tail. Of all the passerines, the Wagtail is the one that best adapts to the proximity of man, which is why in the city as in the countryside it is not difficult to see it a few steps from our homes and even on the windowsill.
