The painting recalls the style of Francesco Guardi and is characterized by the crumbling of the forms and the melancholic shadows of the figures. Interesting is the perspective cut with the ruins of an arch that projects the view onto the background where the island of San Giorgio Maggiore stands out with its Palladian basilica.
